Pursuant to the previous issues with links to the List of Prokaryotic Names with Standing in Nomenclature(LPSN), The type strain parsing infrastructure of StrainInfo has been revised and updated. All links as well as the SeqRank application should now be available again and much more stable. Please contact us if you notice any inconsistencies.
Type strain support under maintenance

The List of Prokaryotic Names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN) has moved to a new URL (http://www.bacterio.net) and format. This requires several changes in the way StrainInfo parses and links the list, which we are currently implementing. During that time, type strain information will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience while we work to restore access.
